About Organization

Our Story & Impact

The seeds of the Wusuta Dzobi Association were sown in 2013 by a group of visionary natives who recognized that our distance from home should not limit our contribution to its growth. Following years of grassroots organizing, we were fully established in 2017.

Since then, we have transitioned from a social group to a developmental powerhouse. Our impact is measured in the progress of our hometown:

Our Vision

To see a modern, thriving, and self-sufficient Wusuta where every citizen has access to world-class education, quality healthcare, and a strong sense of cultural identity.

Our Mission

To unite Wusuta natives in North America through fellowship and to leverage our collective resources to drive sustainable developmental projects in Wusuta, Ghana, while supporting the welfare of our members in the diaspora.

Leadership

Our leadership team consists of dedicated volunteers who manage the day-to-day operations of the association. They ensure that our chapters across the United States and Canada remain aligned with our developmental goals back home.

Financials

We believe in radical transparency. Our funding comes from:

Monthly contributions from our dedicated members across North America.

Targeted fundraising for major milestones like the Medical Lab.

Contributions from partners and friends of Wusuta.

Accountability

We maintain strict financial records. Annual financial reports are presented at our state-to-state gatherings to ensure every dollar is accounted for and directed toward the development of Wusuta and the welfare of our members.
